Senior Citizens' Home

SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home, an initiative of SASCO LTD, was established on 21 January 1981 with a clear mission: to provide lodging and care for the destitute elderly in Singapore, regardless of race, language, or religion. Registered with the Commissioner of Charities in the same year, our commitment to ethical and transparent service is foundational.

Our Journey and Growth in Senior Care 

As an affiliate of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and a member of the NCSS Charitable Fund, we have deep roots in Singapore’s social service sector. Beginning with 10 residents, our elderly care services quickly expanded. Today, our Sheltered Home facility has relocated to Hong San (Evergreen Place), offering enhanced capacity for up to 102 seniors. Our original Telok Blangah location now serves as a vital Day Care Centre, providing daytime support and engagement for seniors.

Holistic and Person-Centered Care

At SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home, we are dedicated to providing holistic senior care. Our Sheltered Home offers not just lodging and personal assistance, but also a range of activities fostering community and well-being, including recreation and therapeutic physiotherapy. We also respect the spiritual needs of our residents, providing a dedicated prayer room for all faiths.
